Comparison of SAF and VRSG Views Of The Virtual World

The VRSG application appears here as an arrow  on the SAF Plan View Display (PVD) when used in the DIS Stealth mode. You can see the VRSG 3D visual analog of the 2D SAF PVD by clicking on the image above.

You can actually see the correlation of the runway and road represented in the 3D virtual world of the VRSG application and the SAF image. This example demonstrates the high degree of database correlation that exists between SAF CTDB and the MetaVR MDX formats of databases created using MetaVR's WorldPerfect rapid terrain generation system.
