| The Cheetah is one of the smaller MRAP vehicles and newer
than the Cougar and Buffalo, which have already seen extensive service
in Iraq. Light and fast, this light-armored vehicle is intended as a vehicle
for reconnaissance, forward command and control, and urban operations.
The 12,000 lb. Cheetah is being considered as a possible replacement for
Humvees in Iraq and Afghanistan.
