The Cougar family of medium MRAP vehicles is available
in 4X4 and 6X6 layouts. The vehicle can be configured for a wide range
of tasks including troop transport, EOD, command and control, artillery
prime mover, recovery and ambulance duty. The 6x6 variant can transport
up to 10 troops or 4 passengers plus an explosive/ordnance disposal robot.
The Cougar 4x4 and 6x6 vehicles both have 330-hp diesels, top speeds
of 65 mph, a 600-mile range, and seating for 10. The Cougar 6x6 can haul
14,000 lbs., nearly triple the 4x4’s maximum load. (photo: Force
