MetaVR 3D Technical Entities MetaVR's 3D library of military entities now contains a set of 29 technical vehicle models. These new technical vehicle models represent vehicles that are in use by irregular military organizations in several countries.
Technicals are armed commercial vehicles, typically pickup trucks or four-wheel drives. The vehicles are modified with machine guns or other automatic firearms mounted on the back or the roof of the vehicle, on a tripod or some other support. These models are in MetaVR’s model format, and are included in the 3D content libraries that are delivered with the purchase of MetaVR products. The paint schemes of the technical models are derived from publically available photos on the Internet of actual vehicles from countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Liberia, and Somalia. Updates will be available to current customers on Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG) maintenance. Simthetiq is MetaVR's preferred model provider.
