High-Fidelity Dismounted Infantry Visualization

Click here to reveal the details
VRSG supports high-fidelity dismounted infantry visualization using DI-Guy software from Boston Dynamics for applications such as training for Military Operations on Urbanized Terrain (MOUT).

As result of their port to Microsoft DirectX, Boston Dynamics offers their individual animated human simulation product with support for MetaVR VRSG. VRSG can render detailed dismounted infantry using Boston Dynamics' DI-Guy software by providing DI-Guy application support as a plugin, which is delivered with the core product. To use this plugin, you must first obtain and install a DI-Guy runtime license from Boston Dynamics.

DI-Guy is software for adding life-like human characters to real-time simulated environments. Each character moves realistically, responds to simple commands, and travels about the environment as directed, responding to all commands in real time. State transitions between different postures of the simulated individual are rendered to move naturally like a real person.
