Internet Service Provider (ISP) Based Simulation Intranet

MetaVR bases its virtual company around an Internet Service Provider (ISP). We perform all software design, development, testing, and market analysis through our ISP network connectivity. Our VRSG application works seamlessly with the Point-To-Point Protocol (PPP) provided as the networking transport layer infrastructure of our ISP. The Point-To-Point Protocol is standard with Windows and allows MetaVR to routinely conduct virtual world testing on our low cost PPP based simulation intranet.

To determine what type of Internet Protocol (IP) address is associated with your machine for configuring VRSG for a PPP based simulation experiment, open a DOS command window and run the ipconfig utility.

MetaVR staff can simultaneously conduct simulation exercises and collaborative review of our software development results while using low cost high-speed serial and ISDN modems.
