MetaVR's Kvant SPN-4 Heart Ache model is comprised of 45,740 polygons and 95.0 MB of textures (per paint scheme). The model has an articulated anti-radar system turret. The anti-radar system, headlights, taillights, and brake lights are controlled on appearance switch states.
The Kvant SPN-4 Heart Ache system features a High Power X-Band Radar jamming station, designed to guard against aircraft-based electronic surveillance, including UAV surveillance. The Kvant SPN-4 can effectively shield objects on the ground against radio-locating surveillance satellites, ground-based radars, or aircraft-installed Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS). The system's goal is to counter attacks from enemies using advanced technologies.
The Kvant SPN-4 model is called 1RL248-4 and is available for download to MetaVR customers on active software maintenance. MetaVR models are encrypted and require a hardware dongle to view.
Specific Model Variants
MetaVR strives to deliver models in correct paint and camouflage schemes that apply to each model. We may alter models to match real captured and altered equipment as this helps simulate allied platforms that are now OPFOR targets.
There are multiple SPN-4 model variants with different paint schemes.
