Welcome to the MetaVR Spring 2021 newsletter.
The big news for the Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG) user community during the first half of 2021 is the release of the newest version of our real-time, 3D software, VRSG v6.5. In developing this new version we have focused on enhancing support for additional virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR) systems, and this has enabled a brand-new eye-tracking visualization capability for After Action Review (AAR) in partnership with Varjo.
We are pleased to announce the opening of a MetaVR facility in Sudbury, MA. This facility allows us to host virtual demonstrations of systems including our new Deployable Joint Fires Trainer (DJFT) and cockpit-based Part Task Mission Trainer (PTMT). This gives the MetaVR user community the chance to interact with our engineers and experience our new technologies throughout the year, independent of trade shows.
Our user community is key to forward technology development here at MetaVR, and as always we welcome any feedback or requests you might have regarding new software features and models - developed by our team free-of-charge for users on active software maintenance. Please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org.
