MetaVR's corporate shipping policy is to use only Federal Express (FedEx) for delivering all MetaVR products.
Why we use
only Federal Express: All Shipments are fully insured to destination; if
any portion of a shipment is lost or damaged when it arrives at a customer's
receiving dock or upon opening and inspecting the shipment at the customer's
receiving facility, MetaVR will replace any and all items at no charge to the
customer, and without question or delay. (MetaVR in turn coordinates with FedEx
for reimbursement, as part of its contract with Federal Express. Customers are
never burdened with replacement costs or the administration of such costs.)
FedEx provides full accountability for the shipment and in MetaVR's eleven years
of business with them, they have never lost a customer shipment. In the rare
case of minor shipping damage or lost shipment parts all have been reimbursed
without question. Any damage or lost components must be documented by the customer
at the time of receipt with digital images and sent to MetaVR via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Using our on line Quote form, customers can specify, one-, two- or three-day delivery. Delivery time is based on the quoted build time from receipt of your order. Shipments cannot be made to APO/FPO or P.O. Box. Your order may be delivered in multiple shipments depending on when any one complete line item is ready for shipment. You will automatically receive all tracking information upon shipment and receipt of your orders via email from the FedEx tracking system.
There are two options for handling shipping charges:
All orders are shipped Monday through Friday. Sunday delivery is not available. For two-day delivery, two non-holiday business days are required for delivery. For one-day delivery, orders must be received by 12 PM ET.
MetaVR does not bill shipping costs collect; the administrative effort to provide actual billing costs is prohibitive and lengthy.
MetaVR ships internationally. Please bear in mind that all customs clearing, duties and taxes are not included in the freight calculation and are the responsibility of the customer. Note that shipments that are not retrieved from customs are not covered by MetaVR's insurance.
